Responsibilities
* Do all the engineering activities related to new product development such as creating new concepts, designing, testing, analyzing and specifying.
* Perform competitor benchmarking, learn about product applications, and analyze testing results.
* Responsible for delivering product development engineering tasks on quality, cost, and schedule.
* Identify critical product functionality and performance requirements.
* Propose performance improvements and cost reduction in existing products.
* Support other areas such as manufacturing, sourcing, quality, legal, sales, and marketing.
* Develop test plans and procedures.
* Build prototypes.
* Support new supplier qualifications.
