Position Overview – Mechanical & Robotics Design Engineer (Aerospace Composites)
We’re looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking engineer to lead the design of advanced mechanical and robotic systems used in aerospace composite manufacturing. From concept through to production, you’ll be responsible for developing machines that lay, place, and form carbon fiber parts—pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in automated fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop mechanical and robotic systems for composite manufacturing
* Own projects from initial concept to final release, including design, testing, and iteration
* Ensure all designs meet technical, manufacturing, and customer requirements
* Balance creativity and precision to deliver robust, production-ready solutions on time
Qualifications
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience
* Strong experience with 3D CAD software (any platform)
* Solid understanding of mechanical design, motion systems, and manufacturing methods
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
