About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Full-Stack Engineer with AI Experience to lead the development of cutting-edge AI-powered tools and applications, including agentic tools that adapt to user needs autonomously. This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and user-centric products by integrating front-end interfaces with robust back-end systems powered by foundational AI models. The ideal candidate has experience working in a project-based environment (agency or consulting) and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for building and implementing systems from the ground up. You would write production-level code while defining processes and best practices for future team growth.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic front-end user interfaces using modern frameworks like React or Vue.js.
* Implement and optimize secure, scalable back-end systems using frameworks like Node.js, FastAPI, or Flask.
* Integrate foundational model APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Hugging Face) into workflows, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
* Build tools with agentic capabilities to automate workflows.
* Develop APIs and endpoints for internal use and client-facing applications.
* Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure applications meet high standards of usability and performance.
* Collaborate with the data engineering team to integrate data pipelines, databases, and harmonized datasets into applications.
* Continuously improve code quality by implementing CI/CD pipelines, performing code reviews, and following best practices for testing and debugging.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
* A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in software engineering with at least 3 years working on full-stack development.
* Proven experience working in a consulting or agency environment on project-based work.
* Advanced proficiency in programs that could include JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, or Python.
* Expertise in programs that could include RESTful APIs, GraphQL, or database management systems like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
* Familiarity with integrating and optimizing AI APIs like OpenAI, Hugging Face, or Anthropic.
* Advanced English skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international team.
