What We’re Looking For
We are product-obsessed. Everything we create needs to be better than any existing version of it on the market - and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that standard is upheld.
✔️ You have a Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering and preferably at least 4 years of experience in backend development
✔️ Passion for solving complex technical challenges and designing scalable software solutions. You understand technical tradeoffs and make pragmatic decisions.
✔️ Experience mentoring engineers, raising the technical bar across a team, and influencing architecture decisions beyond your own scope.
✔️ Experience building AI-driven applications (e.g. prompt engineering and/or fine-tuning experience are a plus).
What You’ll Do
✔️ You'll be focused on back-end development of our recruitment platform, working mainly with Typescript and Node.js.
✔️ You’ll work on core product features and Backend code improvements, ensuring all systems can support the growth of our customer base.
✔️ You'll set the technical direction for major parts of the backend, leading design discussions and reviewing code to keep quality high as the team scales.
✔️ Work in a supportive, open, and fast-moving environment where you can learn and grow quickly.

We want to learn about your motivations to join Spott, determine why you’d be a great fit, and answer any questions you may have for us
3. Technical screen (60min)
We talk through a complex engineering problem we face at Spott to learn more about how you approach architecture, tradeoffs, and decision-making as a senior engineer
