O As an English-speaking early childhood educator (m/f/d), you are responsible for teaching English language and culture across the seven areas of learning: language, psychomotor skills, music, mathematics, science, social development, and creative development.
o Together with your German-speaking colleague, you will develop educational programs and monthly plans, assess the children’s individual developmental levels through observation, and devise appropriate support measures.
o You will participate in regular team meetings and be involved in the ongoing implementation and evaluation of the Thuringian curriculum.
o You will work from 7:30 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., depending on the schedule, and in addition to your group, you will also be responsible for other children during the afternoon shift.
o You are a native English speaker with professional qualifications, having completed training as an early years educator, or holding a comparable teaching qualification or a relevant university degree.
o You have at least two years’ relevant experience in the education, upbringing and care of young children.
o Several years’ experience in the care, support and supervision of children in nursery settings is desirable.
o You enjoy working with children and have a high degree of empathy.
o You are ambitious, a team player and willing to integrate into a multilingual community with great cultural diversity.
o Further training in the areas of under-3s / special needs education / integration / inclusion
o Good knowledge of German is required..
