Trade Manager Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for overseeing daily banking transactions in various departments, particularly Trade Finance. You will interact with banks, agents, brokers, and clients worldwide, primarily in India.Key Responsibilities:Handling of daily banking transactions in various departments, especially Trade Finance.Interaction with Banks, Agents / Brokers and clients in other geographies mainly India.Scrutiny of Trade Documents.Preparation of calculation sheet, discounting Memorandums, SWIFT Messages.Scrutiny of swift messages.Lodgment of Export / Import Bills, opening of Letter of Credit / Bank Guarantee, Lien marking, Bill Discounting, Buyers Credit.Follow-up of transactions.Posting of transactions in the Finacle and TIPlus.Attending to customer calls (Personal/Telephone Calls).Maintenance of data base in MS Excel sheet.Filing of papers and documents.Profile Knowledge Required:Negotiation, discounting & purchase of Documentary Credits.Bank Guarantees.Rules & regulations regarding Trade credits in Belgium.Banking Operations.MS Excel, MS Word etc.Skills Needed:Scrutiny of documents.Eye for details.Working on IT/Technology related projects.Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and data bases.Abilities Required:Attend meetings and contribute to team efforts by ensuring all relevant information is included in the outcomes.Implement changes to standard procedures when required by specific situations and circumstances.Use appropriate interpersonal styles and communicate effectively and professionally, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels to accomplish objectives.Explain or clarify financial information to all levels of management.Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.Provide a high level of customer service.Good Inter-personnel abilities.Should be fluent in English and have basic knowledge of Dutch or French.
