Business Analyst
New Role
– I am recruiting a Business Analyst for another long term contract assignment in Brussels. This is a hybrid working model with on-site and off-site working ( 5 days per month on site ) I am particularly interested in candidates with solid BA skills combined with experience in Education or Training.
Tasks and Responsibilities of the Business Analyst Analysis of business requirements. Preparation of system use cases and solution discussion and review with the technical team. Coordination and review of business requirements with developers during and following development. Definition of priorities and services needed to ensure the completion of the objectives of the project and the stakeholders. Overseeing the adoption journey by various types of stakeholders, both internal and external to the service. Contributing to the success of digital projects and initiatives by keeping stakeholders updated to ensure adoption of digital solutions. Creating and enforcing plans that help meet the needs of stakeholders and ensure the implementation of digital solutions. Management of risks and complains that may arise in relation to the project and liaison with the main parties involved. Participate in working groups and progress meetings. Coordinate the provision of business and technical requirements with relevant business and IT units of the European Institution. Interaction with the customer, users, project leaders and the developers.
Required skills and experience of the Business Analyst
Master Degree + 9 years of relevant experience or Bachelor + 13 years of relevant experience Minimum 5 years of experience in Agile environments, project coordination, and business analysis, including collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders. Proven expertise in BPMN and UML, including use case modelling, business process modelling, data modelling, and preparation of functional specifications. At least 3 years of experience using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., PowerPoint). Strong knowledge of Agile practices and modelling standards (BPMN, UML). Very good command of Microsoft Office tools. Good knowledge of English. Desirable: Experience in EU skills and qualifications initiatives, particularly within the Labour Market and/or Education and Training sectors, is considered an asset. Project methodology certifications and knowledge of PM2 are advantageous
