About the Job

* As a Logistics Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for providing in-depth information on the LSP market within our organization and to our clients.
* You will work with Operations and Carrier Management Specialists to implement carrier contracting and routing strategies within their client base.
* You will support new client change management process and commercial startup (implementation of new LSPs).
* You will negotiate new supplier terms when new client requirements are presented.
* You will analyze, design, and implement logistics opportunities that either lower costs or enhance service.
* You will develop and implement best practices and methods with Director Logistics Procurement.
* You will identify and screen new potential suppliers.
* You will process new suppliers through the qualification process to determine they are fit for service.
* You will negotiate commercial terms with suppliers.
* You will provide Operations and Carrier Management Specialists with master data for execution of shipments.
* You will monitor overall -LSP performance and effectiveness to satisfy client requirements, together with Carrier Management Specialists.
* You will maintain a good working relationship with Odyssey's strategic supplier's management.
* You will provide input specifications and review to Odyssey's IT application development.
* You will provide input to internal sales for new client assessment.
