About the Role
For our client (HVAC), we are looking for an Area Sales Manager to take full commercial ownership of the Flanders region. This is a strategic and high-potential territory, focused on business development and long-term customer relationships in the B2B sector (installers and distributors).
Key Objectives
* Grow the regional turnover
* Build a strong local network of qualified installers and distribution partners
* Represent the company brand and values in the region
Main Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution
* Proactively visit and manage key accounts in the region
* Identify and approach potential customers to generate new business
* Understand client needs and propose tailored technical-commercial solutions
* Follow up on quotations, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction
* Prepare project-specific meetings using technical documentation and product insights
* Define and implement territory-specific sales plans
Client and Partner Management
* Develop long-term relationships with installers and distributors
* Act as the main point of contact for clients in your area
* Gather and report market intelligence (competition, trends, feedback)
* Represent the company at relevant trade shows and events
Internal Collaboration and Reporting
* Coordinate with internal sales, technical support, and administration
* Report directly to the Country Manager
* Share customer insights and improvement ideas to strengthen the business
* Support continuous improvement of internal processes and tools
Candidate Profile
* 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B field sales (HVAC, ventilation, energy, or related sectors)
* Strong hunter mentality (60–70% new business development) with the ability to manage key accounts
* Familiarity with CRM systems and structured reporting
* Mid-level professional ready to grow; overqualified or freelance profiles not targeted
* Technical background is a plus but not mandatory; product/market understanding is essential
* Fluent in Dutch; professional level in English (French is a plus)
Working Conditions
* 3 days per week on the field (3–4 client meetings per day)
* 2 days per week for admin, planning, and follow-up
* Territory: West & East Flanders
* Reports to the Country Manager
Compensation & Benefits
* Gross monthly salary: +- 5.5K (depending experience)
* Annual bonus: approx. 1.5 months’ salary
