Packaging Deviation & Continuous Improvement Specialist

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of quality, operations, and continuous improvement, with a direct impact on manufacturing performance and product quality.
Your Responsibilities
As a Packaging Deviation & Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring robust packaging operations and maintaining high quality standards. Your main responsibilities include:
Deviation Management & Investigations
* Lead and document packaging‑related deviations
* Perform root cause analyses
* Drive the definition, follow‑up, and closure of CAPAs.
Change Control & Quality Documentation
* Prepare and manage change control requests
* Update and revise procedures, work instructions, and other quality documents
* Ensure alignment between operational changes and GMP expectations.
Continuous Improvement
* Monitor packaging KPIs
* Contribute to improvement initiatives targeting waste reduction, efficiency, and line performance
* Support optimization projects to enhance process robustness.
Operational Support & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Partner with different internal stakeholders and related teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
* Support internal and external audits when needed
* Contribute to the introduction of new products or packaging components
* Deliver training on revised procedures and best practices.
Your Profile
* You hold a scientific or engineering degree (or equivalent experience)
* You have experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in production, QA, QC, or engineering environments
* You are familiar with deviation management, CAPA, and change control processes
* You have a solid understanding of GMP and problem‑solving methodologies
* You are organized, analytical, and comfortable working cross‑functionally
* You are fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
