Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for an European Group Controller (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Londerzeel.
Our client is a fast growing company active in the media sector.
As European Group Controller (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing month-end close and consolidation processes ;
* Ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial results ;
* Preparing internal financial statements and reports; preparing semi-annual financial reporting for parent company ;
* Conducting account reconciliations and analysis ;
* Assisting in special projects as needed ;
* Managing Senior and Staff Accountants ;
* Ad hoc projects : key role in ERP implementation.
The required profile for the European Group Controller (m/f/x) position:
* A Master degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration ;
* A first experience in public or industry accounting is necessary for this role ;
* Knowledge of US GAAP is an asset ;
* Fluency in English is necessary, a good knowledge of Dutch and/or German or one of the Scandinavian languages is a plus ;
* The ideal candidate is IT literate and has a good ERP understanding ;
* The right candidate is an open-minded and accurate team player with a strong work ethics.
