To update and maintain our CAD documentation, we are looking for a motivated CAD Drafter (CAD tekenaar). Role Summary As a CAD Drafter, you will assist in creating and maintaining CAD documentation that support the design and manufacturing of our innovative products. You will collaborate closely with senior drafters, designers and engineers to assure quality and adherence to industry standards. Creating detailed technical drawings for mechanical components and assemblies. Maintaining documentation, including drawings, models, and specifications. Generation of Bill of Materials (BOMs). Compiling of basic Engineering Change Notices (ECNs). Assisting in the migration of CAD models towards a new version of Siemens NX. Performing bulk CAD updates. Derivation of simplified STEP-models of our products that can be sent to our customers. Bachelor's degree in (electro)mechanical engineering, engineering technology or related field. Basic training in CAD software, preferably Siemens NX. Internship or project experience related to mechanical drafting or engineering is a plus. Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Knowledge of CAD PDM environment: track revisions, change orders, bill of materials (BOMs)… Technical knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes is a plus. Entry-level job, although a few years of relevant experience is recommended. Work independently, but also function in close interaction with other members of the team. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality work. Structured and well-organised. Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a ...
