1. Manage and monitor application performance, ensuring stability, maintenance, and coordinating upgrades.
2. Oversee database environments, including monitoring, maintenance, and collaboration with the IT infrastructure team.
3. Act as a technical advisor to the Applications Portfolio Coordinator and provide second-line support to the Desktop team for complex application-related issues.
4. Deliver training and guidance to both end-users and the Desktop Support team on specific applications.
5. Implement and document application changes approved by the Change Advisory Board, and provide input when application-related changes are proposed.
6. Promote continuous improvement by documenting recurring issues and sharing best practices with the IT team to build collective knowledge.
7. Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent through relevant experience
8. At least 2 years of experience in IT application support or a similar role
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve application issues independently
10. Solid knowledge of MSSQL, .NET, and PowerShell
11. Good working knowledge of Windows Server environments
12. Fluent in spoken and written English
