Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, processing purchase invoices, reconciling bank and credit card statements, fixed asset accounting, expense reports, and following up on overdue receivables.


Tax Compliance and Reporting

You will handle monthly VAT filings and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations. Your responsibility will also include preparing clear and timely financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.


Purchase Order Oversight and Inventory Management

You will ensure correct application of the 3-way match principle—linking purchase orders, warehouse receipts, and supplier invoices—to support financial accuracy. Additionally, you will help monitor stock levels, keep records up to date, and participate in regular stock counts.


ERP Support and Process Development

You will assist with improvements and customizations in our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics Business Central), ensuring it meets operational needs. You will also help streamline and document financial and administrative processes to drive efficiency and clarity.


General Administration and Team Collaboration

You will provide backup when needed to ensure continuous and cohesive support across departments. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field—or equivalent professional experience—is required. Minimum of 3 years in a financial or accounting role is preferred.

* Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Navision is a strong plus.
* Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., pharma, biotech, or nuclear) is a bonus.

* Clear communicator in English and ideally Dutch (French is a plus).
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
