Are you ready to take on a finance role that goes far beyond the numbers? We're looking for a Senior Finance Controller to help manage our global fleet of vessels - built, maintained, and repaired across the world. In this unique position, you'll oversee the full financial lifecycle of each vessel, from newbuild to decommissioning, and work closely with technical teams to ensure financial clarity and strategic insight.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment, understands the operational realities of fleet management, and enjoys translating complex financial data into clear, actionable advice for non-financial stakeholders.Your responsibilitiesTake ownership of delivering a complete financial overview of the fleet.Prepare and monitor operating budgets, ensuring accurate financial planning for the fleet.Collaborate with Vessel Managers to report fleet performance to our head office in Belgium.Analyze and evaluate additional costs and potential savings, benchmarking vendors and identifying best practices.Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers on all financial matters.Provide clear reporting and strategic financial advice to senior management and the technical department.Your profileYou hold a Master's degree in applied economics, accounting or finance.You have 7+ years of experience including a background in audit (preferably asset audit).
