I'm looking for an experienced, hands-on, and communicative
SAP Service Delivery Manager
to join one of my clients – a leading global organization with multiple business entities.
You'll be part of a collaborative team that supports SAP users across several international sites.
As the
SAP Service Delivery Manager
, you will serve as the single point of contact for SAP support topics, ensuring service quality, efficiency, and alignment with business needs.
This position requires strong coordination between internal teams, external partners, and end-users, along with proactive management of vendors and service budgets.
Key Responsibilities
SAP Maintenance and Support (approx. 60%)
* Act as the primary contact for SAP support across incident, change, and problem management.
* Provide user assistance, diagnose issues, and coordinate solutions with internal teams and external SAP partners.
* Optimize SAP system usage and promote efficient application practices across the business.
* Empower key users through knowledge transfer and proper system training.
* Manage SLAs and ensure service performance meets agreed standards.
* Align SAP release schedules with project and support timelines.
* Ensure seamless handover of implemented solutions from project to support mode.
* Lead the major incident management process for SAP.
* Oversee supplier service management, including contract negotiations and adherence to agreed processes.
Organization and Processes (approx. 40%)
* Design, implement, and continuously improve ITSM processes related to SAP AMS.
* Manage vendor relationships, service reviews, and contract compliance to ensure optimal service delivery.
* Monitor and control the AMS budget.
* Ensure SAP services are aligned with company-wide IT standards and governance frameworks.
* Maintain an internal knowledge base and ensure documentation is kept up to date in line with change management policies.
* Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure clear, actionable change requests for the SAP support team.
