About The Role
As the EMEA Head of Compensation, you play a strategic role in designing and maintaining the compensation philosophy and guidelines for the entire EMEA region. You will collaborate with Finance, business leaders, and HRBPs to design total rewards programs that align with our business strategy and the external market.
As a senior member of the Rewards team, you will lead multiple cross‑regional projects, such as the job architecture harmonization with the Americas, the Pay Transparency project, the Sales & Manufacturing incentive framework, and more.
Responsibilities
Internal Compensation Expert
Design and maintain the EMEA total rewards philosophy and adapt where needed to local market conditions
Work with HRBPs and management to develop compensation solutions and practices that support a strong market‑based, pay‑for‑performance environment
Research and identify trends and issues that impact compensation, proactively supporting business objectives
Partner with HRBPs and management to solve business issues where compensation plays a key role
Collaborate with data scientists to interpret analytical results on reward program impact; propose changes to maximize employee motivation and retention
Work with external consultants to create business cases for changes to the compensation mix
Educate HR and line managers on compensation topics
Market Analysis / Total Cash Analysis
Propose compensation adjustments to support internal equity and market competitiveness
Analyze competitiveness of company compensation policies and recommend changes
Conduct job evaluations, market benchmarking, and prepare offers for top management
Contribute to the implementation of the European Pay Equity Directive
Incentive Schemes
Audit current incentive schemes, assess effectiveness, and propose optimizations
Collaborate with Finance, HRBP, and business leaders to design, review, and adapt functional incentive schemes
Participate in the design and implementation of short‑and long‑term management incentive schemes
Annual Performance & Rewards Cycle
Manage the annual compensation review process with the support of Rewards Analysts
Prepare communication materials for end‑users and managers and support delivery when needed
Review processes and data to continuously improve compensation program design and system setup
General Responsibilities
Stay informed about trends and best practices in compensation
Apply effective communication strategies to support various total rewards programs
Ensure compensation practices comply with laws and regulations
Conduct periodic process audits to recommend improvements
Qualifications & Experience Required
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field (ideally HR, Compensation, Benefits, or Organizational Development)
Experience
5+ years of experience in Compensation & Benefits
Knowledge of compensation theories, best practices, and trends
Knowledge of benefit plan design, regulatory compliance, and market trends
Experience working in a multicultural environment
Technical Skills
Advanced project management skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with HRIS applications is a plus
Soft / Behavioral Skills
Strong analytical skills
Well‑developed verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact professionally and project a positive image
Excellent command of English
