SAP Program Manager – S/4HANA Greenfield Transformation (Pharma)

Overview
We are supporting a leading pharmaceutical organisation in the BeNeLux region undergoing a greenfield S/4HANA transformation. They are seeking an experienced SAP Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of this strategic initiative, ensuring alignment across business, IT, and regulatory requirements.
This role will sit at the centre of a complex transformation, overseeing multiple workstreams including Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and GxP-critical processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Own and lead the end-to-end S/4HANA programme delivery, from design through to deployment
* Define and manage the programme roadmap, governance structure, and delivery model
* Coordinate across multiple system integrators, vendors, and internal stakeholders
* Ensure alignment between business objectives, IT strategy, and regulatory (GxP) requirements
* Drive programme planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
* Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges
* Oversee data migration, integration strategy, and testing phases (SIT/UAT)
* Provide regular updates to C-level stakeholders and steering committees
* Ensure adherence to quality, compliance, and validation standards within a pharma environment
Key Requirements
* Proven experience delivering large-scale SAP S/4HANA programmes (greenfield preferred)
* Strong background in programme governance, stakeholder management, and multi-vendor environments
* Experience within pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries (GxP, validation, compliance)
* Deep understanding of core SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP) and end-to-end business processes
* Track record managing complex transformation programmes across multiple countries/business units
* Strong knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Hybrid delivery models
* Experience managing budgets, timelines, and large cross-functional teams
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at executive level

* Exposure to FUE licensing models and optimisation strategies
* Knowledge of SAP BTP, integration architecture, and cloud environments
