Function
Ready to level up your career and secure the digital world? As a Network Security Engineer (M/F/X) you’ll be the go-to expert managing our network and security infrastructure – across our campus, datacenter, and Microsoft Azure environment.
What will you do?
1. Take charge of our network & security landscape, both on-prem and in the cloud (Azure).
2. Provide Level 2 support for complex IT network issues.
3. Dive into IT projects related to your area of expertise.
4. Work autonomously in an agile setup with a clear backlog and strategic focus.
5. Help improve documentation and technical guidelines.
6. Detect, assess, and fix security risks – you're our digital guardian.
7. Manage and fine-tune spam filters to keep our communications safe.
Profile
Experience:
8. You've already rolled up your sleeves in network and firewall management — think design, setup, config, upgrades — and you know your way around operational environments.
9. You’re certified in Azure, have experience with it, or you're eager to dive in and grow into a true Azure pro.
10. You’re ready to become our in-house expert on Microsoft Security tools — managing, fine-tuning, and pushing them to keep cyber threats out.
11. You're curious about Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and see it as a powerful tool in building fast, scalable, modern environments.
12. You believe solid processes are the backbone of great IT — and you embrace ITIL best practices to keep things running smoothly and smartly.
13. You hold an IT bachelor degree and have 2-3 years of relevant experience in the following domains:
14. Routing & Switching: Aruba and / or Cisco
15. Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) : Fortinet, Check Point or Palo Alto
16. Reverse Proxy : BlueCoat, Fortiweb or Azure Application GW
17. SASE/SDWAN: CATO, Fortinet, zScaler or Pallo Alto
18. Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) CATO and / or zScaler
19. Cloud Networking & Security: Azure
20. Network Access Control (802.1X Wired/Wireless, RADIUS, TACACS, Guest Portals)
21. Vulnerability management: Nessus, MS Defender or Qualys
22. Network Detection and Response (NDR): Darktrace
23. Extended Detection and Response (XDR): MS Defender and / or Sentinelone,
24. Spam filtering: MS Defender, Barracuda or Cisco Ironport
Personality:
