For one of our clients in the industrial sector, we are looking for a Project Engineer in industrial electrical switchboards. You will be responsible for the complete follow-up of projects, from the design phase through to execution, for industrial clients in Belgium and internationally.
You will work in a technical, dynamic, and customer-oriented environment, contributing to varied and demanding industrial projects.
Your Responsibilities
Ensure initial contact with clients in order to define their technical needs
Analyze requests and design appropriate solutions
Prepare technical offers and corresponding quotations
Carry out the sizing of installations (circuits, cables, busbars, motor feeders, etc.)
Produce or supervise the preparation of technical drawings
Adapt offers based on client feedback and respond to their questions
Ensure complete project follow-up (technical, administrative, and financial) in the workshop
Guarantee customer satisfaction throughout the project
Participate in export projects (international)
Your Profile
Degree in industrial engineering or bachelor's degree in electricity, electromechanics, orequivalent through experience
Ability to manage projects independently, both technically and administratively
Customer-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Empathy and emotional intelligence, with the ability to adapt communication
Proficiency in French and English; Dutch is an asset
Field experience in industrial electricity is a plus
Technical Skills
Good knowledge of standards for industrial electrical installations
Sizing of electrical installations (cables, busbars, distribution circuits)
Knowledge of automation (PLC), industrial networks, and communication systems
Proficiency with variable frequency drives and soft starters
Experience with industrial electrical switchboards:
LV Main Distribution xlxgzvr Boards (LVMD / TGBT)
MCC (Motor Control Centers): direct-on-line starting, star-delta, variable frequency drives, soft starters
○ Control and PLC panels
• Knowledge of instrumentation and industrial installations:
○ Cable routing and cable tray studies
○ Site supervision and commissioning
Basic knowledge of industrial pneumatic systems: an asset
