As a skilled Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming the advertising landscape. We are seeking a talented individual to build robust and scalable data solutions within the DPG Media advertising domain.
Your primary responsibility will be to empower business teams with the right data to create analytical reports, evaluate performance, and make data-driven decisions. To achieve this, we are embracing the Data Mesh strategy and following DATSIS principles, an ambitious journey that requires expertise, innovation, and teamwork.
You will start each day with a daily stand-up meeting, where you will sync up with your team, including fellow data & analytics engineers, the scrum master, and the product owner. Your tasks will involve building or optimizing data pipelines and the underlying infrastructure, always keeping an eye on monitoring, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of SQL, proven experience in building data pipelines, and proficiency in programming languages such as Scala, Python, Go, Java, or Shell scripting. Strong collaboration skills and a willingness to learn new technologies are essential for this role.
