Data Analyst / Corporate Credit Analyst
Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid: 50% onsite / 50% remote)
Freelance Position: Short-term contract (13 April 2026 – 30 June 2026)
Dutch, French, and English Required– Fluent or very good knowledge required
Our client is a leading European financial services provider with a strong presence in the automotive financing sector across the Benelux region. They partner with a wide network of vehicle dealers, offering tailored credit solutions to support stock financing and business growth.
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Corporate Credit Analyst to join the team in Brussels on a short-term contract. You will support the analysis of credit applications and contribute to monitoring financial risk across a portfolio of automotive dealer clients.
This role requires someone who can quickly step in, work independently, and deliver high-quality financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform in-depth financial analysis of corporate credit applications
* Assess dealers’ financing needs and alignment with approved credit lines
* Analyse balance sheets and profit & loss statements
* Gather and interpret commercial and financial information
* Monitor credit risk through regular reporting
* Prepare and present credit proposals and recommendations
* Suggest and evaluate potential guarantees
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders across teams and regions
Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate or credit analysis
* Strong expertise in financial statement analysis
* Ability to work autonomously and integrate quickly into a team
* Excellent communication and influencing abilities
* Proactive and self-driven mindset
* Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills
* High level of commitment and perseverance
* Comfortable working in a multicultural and fast-paced environment

* Dutch – Fluent or very good knowledge
