Main responsibilities and key tasks
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for defining the supply chain strategy for the short, medium, and long term within the business unit. As a member of the management team, you will translate the company strategy and targets into demand, supply, and information streams.
* You lead the teams in customer service, aftersales, planning, sample room, warehouse, transport, .. for the different production sites.
* You monitor and improve the daily operational supply chain flows and structural KPIs, balancing the triangle of Service, Cost, and Cash.
* Your continuous improvement mindset across the entire supply chain ensures that daily issues are resolved and material & information flows are proactively improved.
* Collaborate with business analysts to translate theory into practical solutions, enhancing both material & information flows.
* Define KPIs at the management level and translate them into detailed reports at the operational level.
* Coach and empower direct reports. Lead by example, provide autonomy, but actively support where needed. In doing so, develop the competencies and skills within the team.
Competencies and Skills
* You have a master's degree and at least 10 years of experience in Supply Chain. Experience in the roll business is an asset.
* You have demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and change management.
* You are a natural project manager with strong analytical skills, combined with strategic thinking.
* You have strong leadership skills and are a people manager.
* You are able to translate customer needs into an efficient supply chain process.
* You excel in open communication and good collaboration with peers and management.
Languages
You are proficient in Dutch, French, and English.
