As part of the operation and evolution of its Data & Analytics platform on AWS, we are looking for a Data Engineer AWS consultant with a first significant experience, able to work independently on operational activities while being supported on more complex topics.
Mission Objectives
- Provide level 1 and 2 application and technical support
- Contribute to the evolutionary maintenance of existing Data solutions
- Participate in the design and implementation of Data & Analytics solutions
- Ensure the quality, performance, and documentation of deliverables
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and other project stakeholders
Technical Environment
- Cloud: AWS
- Data & Analytics: Data Lake, Big Data, BI
- AWS Services: AWS S3, AWS Athena, AWS EMR, AWS Glue, Airflow on AWS, AWS CloudWatch
- Languages & Tools: Python, Spark (initial experience), Git, Terraform (basic knowledge appreciated)
Responsibilities
- Handle level 1 and 2 support for Data solutions
- Analyze incidents and propose corrective solutions
- Participate in studies for evolution and continuous improvement of the platform
- Deliver Data solutions including:
- needs analysis
- technical design
- workload estimation
- development and deployment
- Write technical and functional documentation
- Work in tandem with other consultants and share best practices
Required Skills
- Good understanding of Cloud concepts: storage, access control, serverless, scalability, networking, monitoring
- Practical knowledge of AWS Analytics & Big Data environment
- Experience with AWS services: S3, Athena, EMR, Glue, Airflow
- Proficiency in Python
- Initial experience with Spark and Big Data environments
- Proficiency in Git
Experience & Education
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a Data, Big Data, or Cloud environment
- Degree in computer science, data engineering, or equivalent
Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
- or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
