Position For our business in Lunar exploration and operations we are seeking a dynamic Business Developer to strengthen our commercial growth, expand our market presence, and build strong relationships with customers and partners worldwide. This position is based at our headquarters in, Sint-Stevens-Woluwe (near Brussels), Belgium with occasional international travel required. Initially your focus will be on the business development of two lunar rover projects: LUVMI-M, a commercially driven lunar mobility solution designed to provide flexible mobility and payload delivery services on the lunar surface, offering customers end-to-end mission support through the company’s YAMCS mission control system. This platform enables scientific, technological, and commercial payloads. The other rover project is ESA’s Lunar Prospecting & Scouting Rover (LPSR) initiative, a logistics driven rover designed to bridge the gap between small science scouts and large cargo transporters for which Space Applications Services is the prime contractor for the initial design phase. Location : Sint-Stevens-Woluwe (Brussels Area) Start date : At the earliest Tasks and Responsibilities Contribute to the definition and implementation of the company’s commercial and business development strategy Identify new markets, customer segments and partnership opportunities Prepare and execute targeted marketing and sales campaigns Develop compelling value propositions and customer facing materials Qualify and follow up on leads; convert leads into business opportunities Support negotiation and contracting with customers and partners Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and promotional events Maintain relationships with existing clients and ensure a high-level of customer satisfaction Analyse market trends, competitors, and customer needs to support decision making Collaborate with cross functional teams (marketing, product, engineering, operations) Provide input for website, social media, newsletters and general communication activities Skills and Experience Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Economics or a related field OR Degree in a technical or scientific domain with strong interest in commercial and business management topics Experience in business development, sales, marketing or customer facing roles Knowledge of or interest in space markets and in particular the lunar economy Familiarity with international customers, government procurement frameworks or large institutional clients.
