What You’ll DoAs our regional subject matter expert for trade compliance, you’ll lead the development and execution of the EMEA trade compliance roadmap, ensuring the region operates in line with global strategy while supporting business growth.You’ll play a central role in strengthening and standardising trade compliance processes, while leading the regional implementation and adoption of our Global Trade Management (GTM) system.This position comes at an exciting time for Hologic. You’ll help move the region toward a scalable, systems‑enabled model that supports Hologic’s continued growth.You’ll also lead a small team and work closely with global trade compliance leadership, playing a key role in shaping the future of the function. Your responsibilities will include:Leading the development and execution of the EMEA trade compliance strategy, aligning regional execution with global policy and prioritiesDriving the implementation and optimisation of Global Trade Management systems, partnering closely with IT and global teamsEmbedding trade compliance processes into system workflows to improve automation, visibility and controlEstablishing consistent regional practices for import/export compliance, tariff classification, country of origin determination and export control classificationOverseeing restricted party screening, end‑use due diligence and export transaction reviewsManaging relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders and external advisors, ensuring compliant and efficient cross‑border operationsIdentifying opportunities to leverage preferential trade programs and duty mitigation strategiesPartnering with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Legal, IT and Commercial teams to integrate compliance into operational processesSupporting audits, regulatory inquiries and governance frameworks across the regionDeveloping KPIs, dashboards and reporting to track compliance performance and risk trendsBuilding regional capability by coaching teams, supporting stakeholders and fostering a strong culture of compliance What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking a trade compliance professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong process and systems thinking. You will bring:Experience in trade compliance, global trade operations, or a related fieldExpertise across import compliance, tariff classification, valuation, export controls and screeningExperience implementing or operating Global Trade Management systems (Oracle GTM, SAP GTS, or similar)Experience working across multiple EMEA jurisdictions and regulatory frameworksProven success driving cross‑functional initiatives and process standardisationExperience working with customs brokers, logistics providers and internal operational teams It would be advantageous if you have:Experience in healthcare, life sciences or other regulated industriesExposure to automation, analytics or digital transformation initiativesProfessional certifications in customs, trade compliance or supply chain Why Join Hologic?At Hologic, you’ll be part of a company where your work directly supports innovations that improve and save lives.
