We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our experienced Sales team.
Ideally located in the London, Home Counties, Surrey, Sussex Hampshire, Oxfordshire area.
The Business Development Manager will provide day-to-day Sales Activity to AGFA IT Solutions customers, prospects and the AGFA HE organisation.
Acting as single point of contact to customers and prospects for AGFA IT Solution products & services, The BDM is responsible for creating a territory plan and strategy, coordinating and controlling the sales process, managing prospect and client expectations and negotiating contracts.
Main duties include:
1. Create and execute a strategic territory plan
2. Focus on establishing new business relationships with non-Agfa client organisations
3. Act as single point of contact to any assigned customer base for Agfa IT products & services
4. Accompany prospective customers from first contact to closing of contract
5. Qualification of accounts and opportunities
6. Accurately forecasting monthly and quarterly business
7. Maintain and Update the Internal Sales Management tool
8. Manage customer/prospect relationship
9. Manage customer/prospect expectations during proposal & negotiation phase
10. Negotiate with customers/prospects
11. Negotiation of service contracts
12. Explain and demonstrate the sold products/solutions and think strategically with the customer
13. Coordinate and control sales processes
14. Being Sales contact in hand-over from sales to Services
15. Assist the service manager during proposal & negotiation phase for SMA
Qualifications:
16. 3-5 years Sales or Pre-sales experience, preferably within Healthcare IT and/or Radiology
17. Proven experience in: Account/Business Development, New Business Sales,
18. Clinical System Sales, Cardiology, Radiology Sales, IT Sales to the Healthcare market
19. Knowledge of the NHS is a must.
20. Background in healthcare or IT sales an advantage.
