Team/division description As part of TME R&D organization, the Powertrain Division is responsible for local development of powertrains for vehicles built in one of the TME production plants, and for planning and research of new European technologies. Latest focus points include electrification, big data and connectivity. Your project With increasing electrification in the automotive industry, On-board chargers play a crucial role in the future powertrains. Your project is about investigating new On-board charger technologies and performing simulations to evaluate the performance. Innovation scouting through literature and patents. Visualize technical trends in charts and make roadmaps. Perform modelling and simulations of highly efficient components for On-board charging systems. You are fluent in English (TME’s business language) You are interested in automotive powertrains University student with at least 2 years of study already completed. You are eager to dive into technical topics on electrified powertrains and able to summarize and explain complex technologies in simple keypoints. Open personality and able to work independently in a multi-cultural business environment. Starting date September 2026 Duration 6 months Confidentiality Due to business requirement, not all performed projects can be reflected in the internship report.
