Mid–Senior Account Executive (Energy Tech) | Antwerp / Netherlands A rapidly growing climate-tech SaaS company is expanding its commercial team and is looking for a mid–senior Account Executive to help accelerate growth across the Netherlands Nordics and Baltic region.
The company operates in the energy flexibility and optimisation space, helping organisations unlock value from distributed energy assets through advanced software and aggregation technology. With a team of around 25 people and strong market momentum, this is an exciting opportunity to join a scaling business and play a key role in driving new revenue.
This role is ideal for a commercially driven salesperson with experience in the energy sector who enjoys building new business opportunities and managing deals through the full sales cycle.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for generating and closing new business opportunities across the Netherlands and surrounding regions.
This is a full-cycle sales role, where you will take ownership of deals from initial prospecting through to closing, working with clients across the evolving energy ecosystem.
Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
Engaging with senior stakeholders across the energy and energy flexibility ecosystem
Navigating a 6–9 month average sales cycle
Collaborating closely with leadership and the wider commercial team to refine sales strategy
Travelling across the Netherlands and occasionally to the Baltics to meet customers
We are looking for a confident and experienced new business salesperson who understands the energy market and thrives in a consultative sales environment.
Fluent in Dutch and English
Proven experience in solution-based B2B sales
Comfortable running commercial conversations with senior stakeholders
Based in Antwerp, the Netherlands, or Northern Belgium, with regular travel
Candidates based outside Antwerp should realistically be located closer to the Netherlands, as much of the client base is there.
