As a Team Leader, you will oversee a team of warehouse employees within your assigned operational area, ensuring efficient organization of daily activities. Reporting directly to the Shift Leader, you work closely with both shift leaders and your team to secure smooth, safe, and continuously improving operations both in the short and long term. In this role, you play a key part in fostering a positive culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, actively contributing ideas and supporting management in driving operational excellence How you create impact Technical management and management of industrial employees in areas such as incoming goods, outgoing goods, picking and packaging; Daily planning, monitoring and continuous optimisation of warehouse and work processes; Supporting shift management in the implementation of projects to increase efficiency and quality; Compliance with occupational safety and load securing regulations; Implementation of training and instruction; Giving shift speeches; Lead team communication through regular meetings and by fostering respectful, disciplined collaboration; Ensure accurate administration and reporting, including planning updates and data registration in relevant systems; Safeguard quality standards (QSHE), performing checks and taking corrective or preventive actions when needed; What we would like you to bring Completed vocational training in the field of freight forwarding and logistics or comparable qualification; Ideally, several years of professional experience in warehouse logistics and in dealing with warehouse management systems; Initial experience in leading a team as well as empathetic interaction with colleagues and employees; Commitment, flexibility and motivation; Independent, team-oriented and service-oriented working style; Strong communication skills as well as a high level of service and customer orientation; Good knowledge of written and spoken of English and Dutch; Flexibility to work Monday-Friday shifts (06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00) and availability for 2 Saturdays per month, with a compensatory weekday off (always 5 working days/week).
