Mission.
As part of this assignment, you will be supporting a major data migration programme within the insurance sector. You will work hand-in-hand with the Data Management teams to ensure the successful migration of the NN portfolio into the target Athora systems.
Your role will span data mapping, data quality assessment, documentation, and cross-functional alignment with business and technical stakeholders.
You will:
1. Participate in the full lifecycle of data analysis activities within the migration stream.
2. Map structured and unstructured data from legacy (“AS-IS”) systems to the target systems.
3. Analyse existing data quality, identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement areas.
4. Support the implementation of mitigation plans to ensure non-regression of data quality throughout the migration process.
5. Produce high-quality documentation, ensuring clarity, robustness, and traceability.
6. Facilitate the definition, deployment, and monitoring of performance and data quality indicators.
7. Support compliance with data-related policies, standards, roles, responsibilities, and adoption requirements.
8. Provide progress reporting to the Data Migration Project Manager.
9. Ensure alignment with Architecture principles, Data Governance rules, SDLC standards, PMO methodology, and the organisation’s risk & compliance framework.
10. Build effective working relationships with business and technical teams across the group to enable smooth collaboration.

18. Brings hands-on experience with SQL querying, AWS Cloud environments, and data migration project delivery.
19. Has at least 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst and ideally 5+ years in the Life Insurance domain, allowing you to understand industry-specific data structures.
20. Feels comfortable working in an international environment and is fluent in English, French, and Dutch, with the ability to adapt communication to any stakeholder level.
21. Is based in Belgium and ready to integrate into a collaborative, high-performing project team.
