Job Description
As a Health & Safety Manager your responsibilities are:
* Lead day‑to‑day Health & Safety operations across warehouse and office environments
* Create, update, and monitor risk assessments and prevention plans
* Conduct and coordinate internal audits, inspections, and mandatory reporting
* Manage incident investigations, corrective action plans and legal notifications
* Deliver H&S training, toolbox sessions, evacuation drills and compliance follow‑up
* Support Business Continuity Plan updates and testing
* Serve as back‑up to the Security Manager
* Monitor safety checklists and compliance dashboards via internal platforms
* Ensure strong on‑site presence at the main location, with periodic visits to the secondary site
The Successful Applicant
A successful Health & Safety Manager should have:
* Prevention Advisor Level 2 certification
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar H&S environment
* Fluent in Dutch, English, and French
* Highly organized, detail‑focused, structured, and proactive
* Able to work autonomously and communicate clearly at all levels
* Comfortable in a corporate, process‑driven and standards‑oriented culture
* Reliable, consistent, and able to coach others
