We are looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation senior Engineerwho is who is rigorous, accountable, and pragmatic to join us as a freelance in Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium.
About the Role
As a freelance Electrical and Instrumentation senior Engineer, you will be the technical referent for UCB contracts in your field of expertise. You are going to author specifications, calculations, and drawings, and act as the single point of contact for contractors. You will manage planning, budget, and quality for your package, ensuring compliance and excellence.
Who you will work with
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on the GENESIS Project at the Braine site. You will interact with contractors, project managers, and internal stakeholders, driving CAPEX projects in a dynamic, innovative environment.
What you will do
• You will act as the UCB technical referent for contracts in your area of expertise.
• You will author specifications, calculations, and drawings related to your field.
• You will be the single point of contact for selected contractors.
• You will manage contract planning, budget, and quality of realization.
• You will ensure compliance with safety, GMP, and environmental regulations.
• You will drive qualification and energization processes for installations.
Interested ? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in industrial or pharmaceutical engineering.
• You have proven experience in CAPEX project management.
• You are knowledgeable about safety, GMP, and environmental regulatory requirements.
• You have experience in legal conformity and energization processes (3 green lights).
• You demonstrate strong communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
