The Opportunity
We are looking for a Quality Engineer who is passionate about precision, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will be the key driver of quality performance across our two Belgian production sites. You will translate quality standards into practical, high-impact solutions, ensure compliance with internal and external requirements, and actively strengthen our quality culture.
This is a high-visibility role where you don't just monitor quality — you elevate it.
Your Impact
As a Quality Engineer, you will:
Ensure Product Excellence
* Perform and guide visual and dimensional inspections on incoming parts.
* Quickly resolve non-conformities in line with technical specifications.
* Safeguard compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.
Drive Structured Problem Solving
* Manage non-conformities and customer complaints using 5 Why, Ishikawa, and 8D methodologies.
* Record and track NCRs and corrective actions in SAP ERP.
* Identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions.
Strengthen Supplier & Process Quality
* Conduct supplier audits (national & international) to assess quality systems and process reliability.
* Support and optimize Quality Control processes.
* Contribute to the implementation of a new optical measurement system.
Lead Audit & Compliance Activities
* Support internal and external audits (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, customer audits).
* Ensure proper follow-up of action plans and continuous compliance.

What You Bring
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering/Mechanics or a related technical field.
* Experience (or strong ambition) to grow within a Quality Engineering or Quality Coordination role in an industrial/production environment.
* Experience with supplier audits, technical evaluations, and ERP systems (SAP is a plus).
* Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
* Proactive mindset with the ability to independently lead improvement initiatives.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
