Why Join Us | DuPont Careers As a Laboratory Technician in DuPont Healthcare Solutions, working at our Braine L’Alleud facility in Belgium, you will collaborate with a dynamic R&D team to develop technology and innovations that provide critical solutions to customers across many healthcare related industries including biopharma processing, medical device development, and pharmaceutical formulation. Your expertise will directly influence our product development efforts and help transform cutting-edge ideas into practical solutions. Key Responsibilities Supports Technology team on development programs, customer requests, and product performance investigations by performing lab and application tests, including basic method development, under minimal supervision Assists with tests preparation, evaluates data, troubleshoots issues, suggests improvements, and independently writes reports, test protocols, and operating procedures Equipment stewardship: responsible for equipment operability, calibration checks, routine maintenance of equipment, and organizing service/repair with external vendors as needed Works safely, utilizing good laboratory practices, in a collaborative team environment. Education & Experience Required: Minimum BS Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field Demonstrated capability as a lab technician with strong problem-solving skills, knowledge of the scientific method, and basic statistical analysis Self-motivated person driven to achieve outstanding results, capable of managing multiple assignments Learning orientation with openness to assume new projects and responsibilities Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong bias for collaboration Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English Initiative and with good organizational skills Preferred: Experience in industrial R&D or Application Development Familiarity with common mechanical property testing methods (ex. tensile testing) Basic knowledge of polymers and/or polymer processing is an advantage Application of digital tools to facilitate learning and scientific discovery LI-DK1 Join our Talent Community to stay connected with us!
