As Project Engineer working with structures and calculations, you will be involved in engineering projects related to high-voltage overhead lines and supporting structures (36–380 kV). Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient structural designs.
Key Responsibilities
* Study and design new steel structures and adaptations to existing ones
* Perform specialized structural calculations and manage study planning
* Guide internal and external designers in developing calculation models
* Prepare technical tender documentation and support the procurement phase
* Validate and deliver produced structures at manufacturers or testing facilities
* Provide technical support during site execution and preparation of works
* Follow up on quality management, inspections, and reporting
* Optimize and implement calculation rules in engineering software tools
Your Profile
* Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Physics
* Junior profile with strong academic background and interest in steel structures or
* Medior profile with relevant experience in steel/structural engineering
* Strong affinity for technical and detailed studies
* Experience with steel structure design and engineering xphnsxz software (3D, FEM)
* Knowledge of Eurocodes and relevant standards
* Structured, responsible, and a strong team player
Nice to have:
* Experience in engineering or expert roles
* Knowledge of MS Project, VB.NET, VBA scripting, or Fortran
Languages
* Excellent knowledge of Dutch or French, with basic knowledge of the other national language
* Good professional knowledge of English (spoken and written)
