Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled professional to lead projects involving new or improved applications for our existing or new polymers.
This role requires strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to integrate sustainability requirements in the design of future solutions.
* Lead projects consisting of new or improved applications for our existing or new polymers
* Translate strategic business drivers into technology opportunities that meet local and global market needs
* Integrate sustainability requirements in the design of future solutions
* Provide technical support to customers
* Develop and maintain trustful relationships with external partners (research centers, universities, value chain technology providers)
* Monitor scientific advancements internal and external literature (including patents) to assess new opportunities or threats
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A PhD in Chemical, Material, Polymer Engineer or Science or MSc in Chemical, Material, Polymer Engineer or Science with minimum 3 years of experience in related industry or preferably with typical focus areas on polymer processing, rheology, packaging
* Pragmatic hands-on project management skills
* Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
* Good understanding of physical and chemical analytical techniques
* Willingness to travel
* Ability to work in multidisciplinary & Multicultural teams
* Fluent in English. Proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable but not necessary
