As Sales Manager, you are responsible for the strategic, organizational, and operational management of the Sales department in line with the company’s strategic objectives and within the allocated budget. You lead the sales team, identify new market and customer opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
As Sales Manager, your responsibilities include:
Leading the Sales Team
Define clear goals and objectives for the team and individuals, aligned with the organization's mission and vision.
Assemble, organize, lead, and inspire a team of professionals, guiding them through continuous feedback, mentoring, and support to foster their growth and development.
Monitor individual and collective performance to ensure productivity, quality of deliverables, and overall team success.
Development and Implementation of the Sales Strategy
In collaboration with the Sales Director:
Define the sales plan based on market analysis and business objectives.
Establish sales goals and priorities in alignment with the overall strategy.
Actively manage key accounts and maintain strategic customer relationships.
Ensure proper handling of proposals, SLAs, and commercial terms to close profitable yet feasible long-term contracts while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Analyze sales figures, KPIs, and margins, and under the supervision of the Sales Director, take necessary actions to meet objectives.
Report to the executive management and make recommendations to optimize the sales strategy.
In collaboration with the Sales Director, ensure that customer feedback and market demand are translated into product insights, and work with the product team on the roadmap, backlog, and pricing strategies.
Align sales initiatives with marketing (campaigns, lead nurturing, demos, events...) As a Sales Manager, you have:
A bachelor's or master's degree in an economic or commercial field.
At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, including 2 years in a leadership role.
Commercial acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Expert knowledge of sales techniques and negotiation.
Trilingual proficiency in French, Dutch, and English.
