Contract: Freelance (6–12 months + extension) Location: East Flanders (onsite) Start: ASAP / Short notice preferred About the Role We are supporting a well-established industrial production company in East Flanders that is looking to strengthen its maintenance team with an experienced Freelance Maintenance Technician. This role focuses on keeping production running efficiently through a mix of breakdown, corrective, and preventive maintenance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical breakdown maintenance on production equipment Diagnose and resolve faults quickly to minimise downtime Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks Work on motors, conveyors, pumps, and general production machinery Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards What You Bring Strong experience as a Maintenance Technician / Electromechanical Technician Hands-on experience in industrial production environments Solid skills in both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting Ability to work independently and respond effectively under pressure Experience with fault finding on automated production lines Dutch-speaking (essential for site communication) Nice to Have Experience in food & beverage or process industry Basic PLC troubleshooting (Siemens or similar) Certifications such as VCA, BA4 / BA5 Experience working as a freelancer / contractor Why This Opportunity? xjsrcvq Long-term freelance contract with strong chance of extension Immediate impact role within a high-demand maintenance team Stable environment with ongoing need for technical support Opportunity to work on varied production equipment If you're a freelance maintenance technician open to your next project in East Flanders, feel free to get in touch to discuss further.
