Job summary The VP HR Operations Europe drives operational excellence across the employee lifecycle by developing and delivering streamlined, high-quality, service-focused HR operations. Ensuring alignment with business strategy and Group HR policies, while continuously improving efficiency, compliance, employee experience, and service delivery in Europe. As HR Director Belgium, you will be a key member of the management team for Collectibles and Trading Card Games EU. You will align business objectives with people strategies, acting as a strategic advisor, coach, and enabler. You will lead HR initiatives to enhance performance, engagement, development, and cultural alignment. Additionally, you will oversee day-to-day HR operations at Cartamundi HQ and manage social relations. Reporting to CHRO, part of the Global HR Leadership team, and the Collectibles and Trading Card Games Leadership team (Turnhout). Champion operational excellence in all HR processes, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and compliance. Support the entire employee lifecycle in Belgium, from recruitment to offboarding. Strengthen the management team of Turnhout NV and participate in the works council. Lead daily HR operations at HQ, focusing on service quality and engagement. Coordinate HR operations across Germany, Poland, and Spain, ensuring high-quality service. Main areas of impact Recruitment & selection strategy in collaboration with Group COE Talent Management. Compensation & benefits policy design and delivery. Continuous improvement of HR processes. Leadership, coaching, and development of the HR team. Organizational design and workforce planning. Workforce budgeting and forecasting. Driving change management and culture initiatives. Talent management, development, performance, and succession planning. Your profile To succeed, you will bring: A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, seeking opportunities for improvement. Master’s degree in Finance, HR, Law, or Business. 10+ years in HR roles within manufacturing, including as HR Business Partner or HR Manager. Ability to translate business strategy into HR initiatives. Experience with operational HR excellence across the employee lifecycle. Change management experience and cultural transformation skills. Knowledge of Belgian social legislation. Strong project management skills. Experience with works councils. Fluent in Dutch and English. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
