Brand Manager OncologyThe role is hybrid, 2/3 days in the office in Brussels and 2/3 days option to work from home.The BCM Oncology is part of the Oncology Business Unit Belgium & Luxembourg, that consists of several Oncology Franchises. The Expert BCM will focus on the Women’s Cancer portfolio (to be determined for which tumor indications) and will report to the Franchise Lead WC-GI-CDx.You will be responsible to define and implement the marketing/promotional strategies and activities to support the growth of client's Oncology portfolio. In this role,you will work cross-functionally together with the medical affairs team, the sales team, the digital & data analytics team, market access and other functions to implement the Oncology Business Unit strategy.Primary responsibilities
- Articulate local market & customer insights into an integrated brand plan, consistent with global/regional strategic brand plans and overall product strategy
- Pro-actively adapt the brand plan in function of the continuously changing environment, customer insights, market research reports and promotional analysis to maximize brand potential
- Be the brand, competitor and market expert of the assigned indications
- Accountable for the delivery of marketing initiatives and materials to deliver performance
- Maximize the use of commercial & medical channels by leveraging digital while finding the right balance digital/print, to ensure optimal customer engagements
- Share and implement best practices across the oncology business unit and the regional teams
- Build close relationships and collaborate extensively with the sales team to receive market and customer insights, align on the brand strategy and messaging, and translate the customer needs into the promotional materials and campaigns
- Lead cross-functional team discussions for the assigned indications and ensure cross-functional alignment around strategy and activity planning
- Responsible for brand budget for assigned indicationsErxperience:You are passionate about marketing, science, and people!
- University degree in Life Sciences or another relevant discipline with healthcare curriculum from an accredited university
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare industry experience
- Experience in marketing or project management is preferred
- Previous oncology experience and/or scientific knowledge in oncology is a plus
- Ability to work autonomously and to be accountable for your portfolio indications
- Collaborator mindset: ability to act as a team player within the team, across oncology franchises and cross-functional departments; ability to guide the cross-functional brand team and aligning around regional strategy
- Can-do attitude: exhibit strong project management, problem solving, analytical and execution skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English, Dutch and/or French are required
