The PositionAs part of our ongoing growth, we are looking for a OT / MES Engineer to join our teams and work on client projects located in Brussels.
As a Industrial Systems Integration Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:Develop and maintain MES–PLC–OT integrations using OPC‐UA, Profinet, MQTT; deploy new MES station integrations.Manage and improve datalogging with Python to ensure reliable traceability data and support ANDON, reporting and monitoring.Provide production line support by troubleshooting MES/PLC communication issues and minimizing production downtime.Drive continuous improvement through MES upgrades, performance optimization, OEE initiatives and automation.Maintain documentation and compliance for OT mappings, station configurations and MES workflows.
Your profile:Strong knowledge of PLC communication and MES architecture: Siemens S7‐1500, OPC‐UA, Profinet, MQTTSolid experience in industrial and IT networking with hands‐on troubleshooting skillsAbility to develop Python scripts and analyze SQL logs, datalogger outputsExperience with industrial data tools: InfluxDB, TimeScaleDB, PostgreSQL, Node‐RED, Power BIYou have good communication skills in English and Dutch
