Job Description – Medior Sitecore Developer - Permanent contract
For our client, active in rail transportation sector, we are looking for a Medior Sitecore Developer to reinforce the Web Team and help drive digital evolution. With at least 5 years of experience, you are comfortable navigating modern web development and building intuitive, high-quality digital platforms. Your expertise in Sitecore CMS and backend integrations will play a key role in delivering seamless, innovative, and user-focused web experiences.
Responsibilities
Sitecore Development:
Lead and implement Sitecore-based projects, delivering robust and consistent web platforms with an excellent user experience.
Performance & Stability:
Monitor, evaluate, and optimise platform performance to ensure smooth, reliable operations.
Backend Integration:
Collaborate with backend teams to enable efficient and real-time data exchange across systems.
UI/UX Implementation:
Translate complex UI/UX designs into clean, functional, and high-quality interfaces. Help define best practices for the development team.
Cross-Browser Quality:
Guarantee correct behaviour across different browsers and resolve related issues.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up to date with Sitecore and web development trends, and introduce new ideas and improvements.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Set standards and use Sitecore-oriented testing tools to validate stability, performance, and user experience.
Collaboration & Coaching:
Provide regular updates, proactively address challenges, and communicate openly. Support and mentor junior developers.
Requirements
* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Sitecore development experience, with a portfolio showcasing strong web projects.
* Experience with Sitecore 10 XP (containers, analytics, marketing forms).
* Proven experience with Sitecore migrations and version upgrades.
* Strong background in backend integrations and smooth data flows.
* Solid understanding of web development frameworks, life cycles, trends, and modern technologies.
* Proficiency with Sitecore tools and version control systems.
* Experience in performance optimisation and cross-browser compatibility.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.
* Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to mentor others.
* Strong focus on quality and user experience.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to fast-changing environments.
* Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex topics clearly.
* Experience providing L2/L3 support.
* Availability for on-demand 24/7 production incident support.
* Fluency in Dutch or French is preferred but not required.
