Our client, a leading industrial chemicals group located in Liège, is currently looking for a strategic and hands-on Business Intelligence Manager to lead and develop their BI capabilities across the organization.
Reporting directly to the IT & Digital Director, you will play a key role in defining the BI strategy, ensuring data quality, and delivering actionable insights to support decision-making at Group level.
As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Defining and implementing BI standards and governance, aligning initiatives with both business and IT priorities, and managing the BI roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Overseeing BI projects from request to delivery, manage the BI budget, and ensure continuous improvement of existing solutions.
* Leading and supporting internal BI teams as well as external partners, working closely with business users to co-create impactful solutions.
* Driving the adoption of BI tools across the Group, monitoring data quality and system performance, and implementing KPIs to measure the effectiveness of BI initiatives.
* Staying ahead of industry trends and identifying opportunities to innovate and optimize BI processes.
About you:
* You hold a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
* You have at least 10 years of experience in BI, including 5+ years in leadership or project management roles.
* You have experience in an industrial environment,
* You are fluent in French and English, Dutch is a plus.
* You have a strong knowledge of BI platforms such as SAP Datasphere, SAP BW, Cognos, and Power BI, as well as advanced visualization tools like Tableau or SAP Analytics Cloud.
* You have an understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data cataloging, metadata management, and data security/compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001).
* You have experience in change management, training, and supporting business users.
* You are analytical, organized, diplomatic, with strong leadership and stress management skills.
