As a Tribe Release Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing release plans across multiple squads, evaluating risks, analyzing lead times, and coordinating activities between teams. You’ll monitor progress, identify deviations from planned timelines, and negotiate alternative solutions. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to interact constructively with various stakeholders, from squad members to tribe leadership. You’ll also ensure professional software configuration management, stimulate the introduction of version control, and provide consolidated deployment runbooks for each release moment.
Your Talents and Competences
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
* A thorough knowledge of delivery, release management, and configuration management
* The ability to integrate different squad plans into a consolidated release plan
* Solution‑oriented thinking to identify deviations from planning and find solutions with impacted teams
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with diverse audiences
* A positive attitude, empathy, and pragmatism, with a servant leadership mindset
* A Master’s degree or equivalent, with over 8 years of IT experience (release engineering experience in a complex application landscape is a plus)
* Fluency in English, with Dutch and French being a plus
* The ability to think beyond day‑to‑day objectives, aligning with the company’s overall strategy
