To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team.

• Region: projects across Brussels and Flanders
• Contract type: open to both employees and freelancers
• Languages: Professional proficiency in Dutch and English is required. French is a plus.

Your Role

As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and optimize modern data platforms for clients across various industries. You ensure that data is collected, processed, and made available efficiently so organizations can rely on high-quality data for reporting, analytics, and decision-making.

You will work closely with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and sustainable data solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement modern data platforms
• Develop ETL and ELT processes
• Build and maintain data pipelines in Azure and Databricks
• Process large-scale datasets using Apache Spark
• Integrate data from various sources
• Optimize performance, reliability, and data quality
• Enable data access for reporting and analytics
• Advise clients on data architecture and best practices

Your Profile

Technical Skills

• Strong Python skills
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Experience with Databricks
• Experience with Microsoft Azure
• Knowledge of Apache Spark
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with data integration and data modeling
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform is a plus
