Job Description
As Senior GL Accountant you are part of a team of 5 accountants. You directly report to the Finance Manager and act as his "right hand".
Your main tasks are the following:
* Being in charge of the GL accounting of the company and its entities;
* Supervising the monthly and annual closings;
* Preparing the VAT & Tax declarations;
* Doing the intercompany reconciliations;
* Preparing and publishing the annual accounts;
* Acting as a point of contact for the audit;
* Working closely with the Finance & HR teams;
* Optimization of the processes & reporting systems.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate ideally matches the following qualities:
* Bachelor or Master's degree in Accounting / Finance / Management;
* At least 5 years of accounting experience under BE-GAAP.
* Fluent in Dutch with a good knowledge of English;
* Strong ability to communicate;
* Good knowledge of Excel;
* Being able to work autonomously as well as in a team.
