Now that you know a little more about us, let us explain what you could bring to the table.
In your day-to-day work, you will be responsible for:
* Supporting the consultant in the preparation of technical proposals for European programmes such as Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, LIFE, Erasmus+, and others. As part of a team, you will align the project idea with European priorities, define the concept, identify and manage partners, and draft the proposal—covering both technical aspects and those related to the project’s impact and future commercial exploitation.
* Assisting the project coordinator and partners in the management of European projects across various fields.
* Collaborating with innovation platforms and associations in their daily operations.
* Contributing to the positioning of Zabala Innovation’s clients in EU funding programmes, with the goal of increasing their participation in projects aligned with their strategic priorities.
* Attending EU events in the European Quarter and traveling to participate in meetings or events related to EU projects.
* Working in a multidisciplinary team within a young, innovative, collaborative, enriching, and challenging environment.
What do we consider most relevant in your profile?
Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Previous experience in preparing collaborative European projects in Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, LIFE, Erasmus+, or other European programmes.
Familiarity with essential elements of EU projects management (grant agreement preparation, consortium agreement drafting, technical and financial reporting, amendments, WP leadership etc).
Expertise or interest in at least one field related to energy, environment, digital, security, health or education.
Client-oriented attitude.
Fluency in English (C1) and ideally knowledge of other languages, mainly French, Dutch and Spanish.
The selected candidate must be based in Brussels or nearby.
