What will you do?
* Within the Business Unit Transport, the department responsible for the operational fleet of heavy trucks within bpost, you act as the right hand of the national Transport director.
* You are responsible for the design and implementation of all capabilities (operational processes, tools, digital systems) for the entire transport organization, aligning them with bpost's overall strategy.
* You develop and implement new processes and transformation projects as part of the strategic goal 'Transport of the Future', where we aim to create additional services to maximize the deployment of our truck fleet.
* You promote operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cross-functional thinking within the Business Unit.
* You ensure alignment of all processes and systems with the other operational units (Fine-Meshed Distribution, Logistic Platform Distribution, Sorting) for efficient cross-functional collaboration.
* You act as SPOC for cross-functional projects, actively contributing in co-creation to new solutions and services.
* You inspire and coach a team of process and project specialists, and work closely on a functional basis with the operational managers within Transport.
* You actively contribute to budget preparation and follow-up of initiatives within the Transport Business Unit.
Who are you?
* You hold a Master's degree or equivalent through experience.
* You have at least 10 years of experience in logistics operations within the transport sector.
* You hold the "Certificate of Professional Competence for national and international road transport" (or are willing to obtain it).
* You have excellent expertise in process management, operational excellence, and experience with transformation projects.
* You have strong stakeholder management skills and can work smoothly within a matrix structure.
* You are a passionate people manager and enjoy coaching and developing people.
* You can express yourself fluently in French, Dutch, and English.
