Your role
As an SAP Finance & Controlling Functional Analyst (Senior), you will act as a key functional expert within the SAP Knowledge Owners team (SAP Financials).
You will support both operational stability and strategic transformation initiatives, including the Group’s SAP S/4HANA transition.
Your role combines functional expertise, business proximity, and cross-module collaboration within a complex SAP landscape (FI, CO, MM, SD, PS, PP, etc.).
You act as a referent for your area of expertise and ensure the proper dispatching of the work across all SAP Finance experts.
Your key responsibilities
5. Ensure operational excellence of the SAP FI/CO landscape (support, maintenance, continuous improvement)
6. Act as Functional Referent for Finance & Controlling processes across the Group, and be the contact point for the other FI/CO Team Members
7. Ensure the solution tasks are properly dispatched across our SAP Financials experts (JIRA) based in both Belgium and India
8. Provide support, training and coaching to key users and end users
9. Ensure proper documentation of FI/CO processes and system setup
10. Manage user roles and authorizations
11. Contribute to SAP projects (rollouts, enhancements, S/4HANA transition)
12. Participate in end-to-end project lifecycle: analysis, blueprint, configuration, testing, documentation and training
13. Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment between SAP solutions and operational needs
14. Ensure consistency of the solution design and the processes across multiple entities and countries
15. Promote cross-collaboration with other Enterprise Applications Streams when needed (SAP Logistics & Operations…)

Your profile
Experience & technical skills
16. Minimum 8 years of experience as SAP Functional Analyst (Finance focus)
17. Strong expertise in SAP FI modules:
18. FI-GL (General Ledger)
19. FI-AP / FI-AR
20. FI-AA (Asset Accounting)
21. Good understanding of CO (no deep specialization required)
22. Experience in integrated SAP environments (multi-module interaction)
23. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is a plus
24. Experience in industrial or engineering environments is an advantage
25. JIRA / Confluence knowledge is a plus
26. Experience with offshore teams is a plus
